Brewers Association

Katie Marisic is the senior director of federal affairs at the Brewers Association. Based in Washington, D.C., she plans and executes legislative, regulatory, and political strategies to drive the association's federal affairs presence on Capitol Hill. She played an integral role in the passage of the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act and ensured that breweries were included in pandemic legislation like the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. When given the option she chooses a Pale Ale nine times out of ten.

Marc Sorini

Marc Sorini, General Counsel

Brewers Association

Marc Sorini, General Counsel for the Brewers Association, is a beer lover and homebrewer who has served as a counsel for small and independent craft brewers for more than two decades. Marc holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center. When he's not contemplating beverage alcohol law, he's homebrewing with his adult kids.
