What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?
I am the head brewer at Tustin Brewing Company in Tustin, Calif. I got started washing kegs and doing cellar work. Eventually I was promoted to head brewer and have held that position for almost eight years now.

What’s new at Tustin Brewing?
We took silver for our Portola Breakfast Stout at GABF.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?
I get to see and meet so many people.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.
Our short rib tacos paired with our Old Town IPA.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?
My wife and three kids.

What’s your favorite beer from another brewery?
Sierra Nevada Celebration.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?
Spend time with family and friends.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?
I love Denver. I’ve always enjoyed the beers, food, and people. I’ve never had a bad time in all my trips there.
