While the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced its decision to close the investigation into Anheuser-Busch InBev’s (ABI) acquisition of Devils Backbone Brewing Co., it also took the opportunity to clearly state that it will continue to closely monitor ABI’s compliance with the distribution obligations that were part of the ABI-SAB merger settlement, as well as the competitive effects of ABI’s craft acquisitions.
