The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (ABC) has dropped a requirement that breweries and brew pubs making off-premises sales record the buyers’ telephone numbers and birth dates. The recording of those buyers’ names and addresses, however, remains since that provisions is part of the statute which the ABC cannot alter.
