Applications Now Open for the CBC 2025 Seminar Subcommittee

MacKenzie Staples is the education program manager for the Brewers Association. In addition to managing the resources and articles on BrewersAssociation.org, she organizes the seminars for the Craft Brewers Conference® (CBC), curates the webinars in the BA Collab Hour series, and serves as the staff liaison for the CBC Seminar Subcommittee. She is originally from Texas where she fell in love with craft beer, and is proud to say that she has visited over 800 U.S. small and independent craft breweries.

Have you ever wanted to be a part of the team that plans the educational seminars at the Craft Brewers Conference® (CBC®)? Here’s your chance! Applications are now open to join the CBC 2025 Seminar Subcommittee. Apply by Friday, June 21.

The CBC Seminar Subcommittee is a 10-month commitment, beginning in July 2024 and ending in April 2025. As a part of the subcommittee, you will be assigned to seminar tracks based on your areas of expertise in the craft beverage industry. Your job will be to provide insights to help the Brewers Association determine the important topics that need to be covered at CBC 2025, grade seminar proposals, make selection recommendations, and review presentation outlines, drafts, and final versions before the conference.

The biggest time commitments for subcommittee activities will be in July 2024 during the topic and speaker and topic suggestion period, September 2024 during proposal review and selection, and January through April 2025 during the deliverable review process.
