Then, hear from brewers about steps you can take to mitigate those risks, address threats to your brewery’s reputation, and become involved in your community’s efforts to be stewards of the water in your region.

About the Speakers
Charlie Arnold, Water Operations Manager
Sapporo - Stone Brewing
Charlie Arnold is a Water and Wastewater Treatment professional, certified through the State of California Water Resource Control Board in Drinking Water Treatment and Drinking Water Distribution. He has been with Stone Brewery in water and wastewater for nine years, working in operations for its San Diego, Escondido, and Richmond, Virginia facilities. He sits on the Brewers Association Sustainability Subcommittee and works very closely with the San Diego Brewers Guild on matters relating to water and wastewater.
Ken Greenwood, President
Watershed Brewing Company
Ken Greenwood is the co-founder and president of Casanova Craft, Ltd. and Director of Operations of Watershed Brewing Company in the Finger Lakes region of New York state. He has over 25 years of experience leading quality, environmental health and safety (EHS), engineering, and operations teams in manufacturing, ranging from jet engines to custom plastic optics. His roles have ranged from Project Engineer to Vice President of Operations. He has also managed pollution prevention projects, including a zero-discharge, closed-loop system for a plating line that realized more than $300,000 annual savings.
Ken is a certified Lean Champion, 6-Sigma Black Belt, manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, and a former co-owner and host for a historic bed and breakfast in the Finger Lakes. He has taught Solid & Hazardous Waste Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology, coordinated a business panel discussion on "Sustainability and Our Future," and chaired the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee for the village of Avon, New York. Ken's educational training is multifold, with a bachelor's of science in mechanical engineering and a master's of science in environmental engineering from the University of New Haven in Connecticut, and an executive master's of business administration from the Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Saunders College of Business Dean's Council & Advisory Board and a member of the Brewers Association Sustainability Subcommittee.
Celine Morris, Sustainability Project Manager
Antea Group
Celine Morris is a Project Manager for Antea Group US. She works mostly in the Sustainability Practice, specifically in the Water Stewardship Service Line. Celine has extensive experience conducting Source Vulnerability Assessments for facilities both in the United States and internationally, as well as performing global water risk analyses, compiling data on watershed collaboration activities around the world, corporate water accounting, and other environmental research. She has international hands-on involvement creating sustainable water purification systems for developing rural villages in Ghana. Celine's experience includes projects with multinational food, beverage, manufacturing, and technology companies. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Chemistry. Celine recently became an accredited specialist with the Alliance for Water Stewardship in June 2022.
