Registration for the National Homebrew Competition (NHC)—the world’s largest amateur homebrew competition for celebrating the most outstanding beer, mead, and cider—is open through Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. MT.

Presented by the American Homebrewers Association®, members are encouraged to enter their best brews to receive valuable feedback from qualified judges and vie for gold, silver, or bronze medals. Since the inaugural American Homebrewers Association National Homebrew Competition in 1979, 162,710 entries have been evaluated.

During registration, participants will pay for their entries, select style categories, and indicate a First Round judging site preference. The registration period may close earlier than January 31 and move to a waitlist if the demand for competition entries is exceeded.
