What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

I am the event planner, social media, donations, PR, and tasting room manager guru of sorts [at Fort Collins Brewery in Fort Collins, Colo.].

What’s new at Fort Collins Brewery?

We have tons going on right now with Gravity Ten Twenty opening (a new "Field to Fork" restaurant attached to our production brewery) along with the release of a collaboration brew with eight other local breweries in Fort Collins; the release of our seasonal wheat wine; and our second release of four in our Incredible Hops series, an Imperial India Red Ale.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?

The people are amazing. They all have this larger-than-life attitude. The creativity and energy that go into brewing good beers are phenomenal. We all have stories but to actually feel the passion and desire of the brewing community through tasting and drinking different beers is not only fun but rewarding for the heart and soul as well!

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

I love to hike, ride bikes, read, and just chillax! Hot springs are always fun as well as spending some good quality times with friends traveling to new and beautiful destinations in Colorado and all over.

What’s your favorite food and beer pairing?

Cold fried chicken and our Rocky Mountain IPA. Probably not the best nutrition-wise but it seems to do the trick on those hot and sunny days here in Colorado!

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?

Surrounding myself with an amazing group of friends and family. We all support each other no matter what endeavor is ahead or has passed. It feels good to know that no matter the circumstances, you have a set of people who love you unconditionally.

What’s your favorite beer that your brewery does not produce?

Maharaja from Avery Brewing. I am a total hop head.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

Portugal. Sagres was the name of the beer.  It was pretty similar to an amber lager, but with a Portuguese twist. Delicious for sure!
